*Savings are realized by comparing the IEER energy usage of a Modine Atherion to a Comparison IEER. Annual operating costs were determined by the formula - Operating Cost = (Nominal Cooling Tons x 12000) / IEER / 1000 x ((cents/kWh)/100) x Annual Cooling Hours.
The part load efficiency improvements found in the Modine Atherion packaged cooling/ventilation systems provide a dramatic potential for a substantial reduction in annual operating costs versus equipment that only meets the efficiency requirements of ASHRAE 90.1 / DOE and the ASHRAE green building standard ASHRAE 189.1, and also over competing products that do not achieve the IEER ratings shown for the Atherion product.
Actual savings will vary based on numerious factors such as electrical prices, installation, building use and/or construction.
