Power-Throw™ High Velocity Horizontal Hydronic Unit Heater (PT/PTN)
Power-Throw™ High-velocity horizontal unit heaters are ideal for heating hard-to-heat areas that require a greater heat throw. Power-Throw™ units are ideally suited for blanketing doors that frequently open. They are equipped with horizontal air deflector blades that allow airflow to be adjusted either up or down.
A single Power-Throw™ unit heater can often replace as many as three smaller horizontal delivery units, thereby reducing equipment, installation, and maintenance costs.
- Recommended where there is a requirement for heat throw greater than can be provided by standard horizontal delivery models and for hard-to-heat areas, such as frequently opened loading dock doors or large warehouses.
- 6 model sizes from 279,000 to 952,000 Btu/hr, based on 2 lb. steam, 60°F entering air
- Powerful, high velocity air delivery distributes heat over a wide area, can often replace several smaller units.
- PT models have copper tubes while PTN models have copper/nickel tubes for high temperature (400°F water) and/or pressure (250psi steam) applications.
- Low outlet temperature models for higher steam pressures or dirty atmospheres.
